Ameerega simulans (Myers, Rodríguez & Icochea, 1998)
Type locality: "on ridge along Río Távara (trib. Río Tambopata) just below confluence of Río Candamo and Río Huacamayo, about 450 m elev. (13° 31´ S, 69° 41´ W), Depto. Puno, Peru. The type locality is in the Zona Reservada Tambopata-Candamo".
Holotype: MHNSM 16996.
