Type locality: "at an altitude of 950 m NN on the ridge of the Wondiwoi Mountains at the basis of the Wandammen Peninsula, about 10 km west of the village Yeretuar, Nabire district, Irian Jaya [now Papua]", New Guinea, Indonesia.
Holotype: ZMB 61915.
