Holotype: MPEG 5711, adult ♂.

Type locality: “Brasil. Bahia. Fazenda Luzitania, Rio Almada, 2.4 km E of bridge in [= on] BR-101 over Rio Almada, bridge 600 m N of km 487 and 4.5 km N of branch road to Itajuipe, NW of Ilheus”.
