Life habit: Lichenicolous fungus (parasite on living lichens)

Anamorph: Vouauxiomyces truncatus (de Lesd.) Dyko & D. Hawksw., in Hawksworth and Dyko, Lichenologist 11: 58 (1979)

Hosts: Thallus of Flavoparmelia caperata; also reported from Flavopunctelia, Parmotrema, Punctelia and other parmeloid genera

Basionym: Phoma truncata de Lesd., Rech. Lich. Dunk.: 277 (1910)

Homotypic synonym: Lecidea parmeliarum f. microsperma (Tul.) Stizenb., 1890
