Cognate with Saterland Frisian woapenloos (“weaponless”), Dutch wapenloos (“weaponless”), German waffenlos (“weaponless”), Danish våbenløs (“weaponless”), Swedish vapenlös (“weaponless”), Icelandic vopnlaus (“weaponless”).
