rouă
See also: roua
Romanian
Etymology
From Latin rōs, rorem, possibly through a root *rovem through analogy with other words like bos, whence bovem. Another theory suggests an initial *roor, resulting in a plural *rouri which was reformed into a singular analogically. Compare also the change of Latin nos, whence noi, nouă, vos, whence voi, vouă, which may have influenced the result of rouă.
