rinta
Finnish
Etymology
Of Finno-Samic origin. Cognate to Estonian rind. Alternatively of Germanic origin, from Proto-Norse *strinða-. Compare Old Norse strind (“border, side, land”) and Norwegian strind (“slice, line, row”). This is unlikely due to the difference in meaning.
