potar
Dalmatian
Etymology
From Vulgar Latin *potēre, from Latin possum, posse. The Latin infinitive potēre was formed analogically in post-classical Latin from the basis of potens, potentis, the present participle of possum (4th century, found in the Vetus Latina).
