Verb

latać impf

  1. to fly (to travel through the air)
  2. (colloquial) to be on the run; to go from place to place in a hurried manner
    Cały dzień latam, żeby załatwić ten wyjazd.
    I've been on the run the whole day to sort out this trip.

Usage notes

This is an imperfective habitual verb, similar to jadać, and denotes either flying regularly or the ability to fly. For something that is flying at a particular moment, use lecieć.
