- A diacritic used in the Devanagari (ँ), Bengali (ঁ), Gurmukhi ( ਁ), Gujarati (ઁ), Oriya (ଁ), and Telugu (ఁ) scripts. It usually indicates that the previous vowel is nasalized. Shown here over the letter "ka" (or in the case of Telugu, after the "ka"):
