archil (countable and uncountable, plural archils)
- (obsolete) Orchil, a violet dye obtained from several species of lichen (Roccella tinctoria, etc.), which grow on maritime rocks in the Canary and Cape Verde Islands, etc.
- (obsolete) The plant from which the dye is obtained.
