   The second /l/ in the English word "little" is actually spoken [ɫ̩], not that people usually notice.

2. (Internet, text messaging) Encloses text that should be taken as italicized (used in contexts where true italics are unavailable)

     I tried to find this sort of information in some of the reviews of DC SR2, but /every/ one I've read (fansites and professional) was written from the graphics-whore-viewpoint, and didn't talk much about such "nonessential" things as gameplay or car selection and handling.

     Yes, you /can/ win by sitting in the wheels consistently and never doing any work. But it isn't admirable.
