Desertation
See also: desertation
German
Etymology
From desertieren + -ation, formed by analogy with other Latinate verbs in -ieren which form a corresponding noun in -ation, such as deklinieren → Deklination, and possibly in part by confusion with the similar-sounding Dissertation. The proper Latin form is Desertion.
Noun
Desertation f (genitive Desertation, plural Desertationen)
