โทษ
Thai
Etymology
Borrowed from Sanskrit दोष (doṣa, “defect; demerit; fault; flaw; mistake; offence; wrong”); perhaps via Old Khmer doṣa. Cognate with Modern Khmer ទោស (tooh). Compare Pali dosa (“defect; demerit; fault; flaw; mistake; offence; wrong”), from which Thai โทส (tôot) was derived.
