  2. fuel, combustible (same as एध (edha))
    • Srimad Bhagavad-Gita 4.37
      एधांसि समिद्धोऽग्निर्भस्मसात्कुरुते
      edhāṃsi samiddho’gnirbhasmasātkurute
      Combustibles are by fires alight turned into ashes
