Etymology
From ܚܠܡܬܐ (ḥəlaməṯāʾ, “oxtongue [flower]”) + -ܕ (də-, da-, “of”) + ܬܕܐ (təḏāʾ, “the breast”). Compare Arabic حَلَمَة (ḥalama(t)) and حَلَمَة الثَّدْي (ḥalamat aṯ-ṯady).
