Noun

אֵשׁ • (esh) f (plural indefinite אִשִּׁים‎, singular construct אֵשׁ־, plural construct אִשֵּׁי־‎) [pattern: קֵטֶל]

(usually uncountable) Fire, a fire, a flame.
- Exodus 3:2
  וַיֵּרָא מַלְאַךְ ה׳ אֵלָיו בְּלַבַּת אֵשׁ מִתּוֹךְ הַסְּנֶה וַיַּרְא וְהִנֵּה הַסְּנֶה בֹּעֵר בָּאֵשׁ וְהַסְּנֶה אֵינֶנּוּ אֻכָּל׃‎
- אבינו מלכנו
  אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ עֲשֵׂה לְמַעַן בָּאֵי בָּאֵשׁ וּבַמַּיִם עַל קִדּוּשׁ שְׁמֶךָ.‎

Usage notes

The plural אִשִּׁים‎ (ishím) is not used in Modern Hebrew.
