Santa Lucía de Gordón

Santa Lucía de Gordón is a village in the central mountain of León. It has a population of 612 people and it is the second biggest village of the municipality.

It's famous for the coal mines, which for many years has been the workplace of most people in the region. They also eat very well, with its high-mountain cuisine. The people are very simple and friendly, but they have the character of the hard men of the mine.

You can get there by car along the road of Asturias. It's 36 kilometres from León and 18 from mountain Pass Pajares.
