Rîbnița

Rîbnița (Russian Рыбница) is in the breakaway Transnistria region of Moldova.

Understand

Situated at two important bridges over the Dniester River, Rîbnița has a scenic location. It is also home to Transnistria's largest company, a steelworks.

Get in

Mashrutkas run frequently across the Dniester to Rezina in Moldova proper. It is also a stop for buses between Tiraspol and Camenca. The rail bridge is not used for passenger traffic. The Transnistrian border guards are unlikely to try to extort foreigners for money.
