Quintay

Quintay is a village in Central Chile. Easily done as a daytrip from Santiago or Valparaíso.

Get in

Buses to Santiago and Valparaíso. Colectivos to Valpariso from the main square cost CLP$1400 .

Get around

Mostly walkable.

See

An old whaling station that once employed almost 1000 men is now an open air museum]. Entry CLP$500.

Do

There are two beaches.

Playa Grande is complete with a resort and a golf course.
Playa Chica to the south is deserted.
