Glades County courthouse - built in 1928, it survived the Okeechobee Hurricane the same year. The high water mark is still barely visible below the second story.

Moore Haven Downtown Historic District (includes the Lone Cypress)
Moore Haven Residential Historic District - contains a number of simple old homes that survived or were built after the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926 and the 1928 hurricane.
