Mjölby is a town in Östergötland in Sweden, 30 kilometres west of county seat Linköping.

  • Skänninge is a medieval town about 10 km to the north. Accessible via road 32 from Mjölby or Motala, road 206 from Vadsten, or via commuter train (Östgötapendeln), which leaves every 40-60 minutes from Mjölby and Motala. Visit the open-air market which is held the first Wedensday - Thursday of August, and attracts some 120.000 - 140.000 visitors each year.
  • Mantorp has one of the larger racing tracks in Sweden (Mantorp Park). Get there by way of road E4 from Mjölby or Linköping.
