Martuni
Martuni or Khojavend is a town in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The town had multiple names in the past - "Garanlug" (Azerbaijani: "Qaranluq"), "Nijni Garanlug", "Jumabazari", "Khonashen", "Martuni" (after Alexander Miasnikian's pseudonym) and in 1991 the town's name has been "Khojavend". The city became a frontline city during the latter stages of the Nagorno-Karabakh War.
Khojavand contains number of tombs from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages, several ruined medieval churches and remains of settlements and khachkars.
