Avon has exploded from a sleep farm town to a large suburb of Indianapolis since the early 2000s. Corn fields have given way to strip malls and condos at a blistering rate—for over a decade, Hendricks County was one of the fastest-growing in the United States.

Avon is just west of Indianapolis. You can easily enter the town from Rockville Road/US 41.
