Walter Auffenberg has been a biologist herpetologist. After his degree in Biology at Florida University, he achieved specialization in Zoology-herpetology at faculty of Biological Sciences during 1950. W. Auffenberg, spent almost 40 years on field, to study biology and conservancy of several reptile species, such crocodiles, alligators and obviously his more prestigious research on Komodos' dragons.
