
Isidore Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire
Isidore Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire (December 16, 1805 – November 10, 1861), also published as Isidore Geoffroy. French zoologist who among other things coined the term éthologie (ethology) in 1854. Son of Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, father of Albert Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire.
