Osteocarpum salsuginosum F.Muell., Trans. Phil. Inst. Vict. 2: 77. (1858)

Type: On the saline plains of Lake Torrens, the Darling and Murray River. Also in the eastern subtropical Australia, found by Sir Thomas Mitchell. Lectotype: Cudnaka, Lake Torrens, S.A., F. Mueller. MEL 102303.
