Banker and Zemindar; born: 1858; claims descent from General Syed Husain who came to India with the army of Nadir Shah; son of late Nawab Syed Latiff Khan, C.I.E.; educated at the Government College, Patna; has founded a Burial Society for Moslems; has given landed property yielding an annual income of Rs. 8,000 for female education in Bihar; Member of the Municipality and of the District Board of Patna; received Coronation Medal, 1903 and the title of Nawab (personal), 1909.
