WILLIAM HENRY SMITH, Esq.

Was made a lieutenant in Dec. 1799; and promoted to the command of the Demerara sloop, on the West India station, May 2d, 1810. He died at Essequibo, of yellow fever, Mar. 9th, 1826, aged 41 years.
