FORBIDDEN FRUIT.

HEAVEN is what I cannot reach !
The apple on the tree,
Provided it do hopeless hang,
  That ' heaven ' is, to me.

The color on the cruising cloud,
  The interdicted ground
Behind the hill, the house behind,
  There Paradise is found !
