As chaplain he served through the campaign of 1415, being present at Agincourfc. Of that cam- paign he wrote the description carrying events to 1415, which is known as ' Gesta Henrici Quinti.' This was long described anonymously as ' the chaplain's life ' and is a first-rate authority (published by English Hist. Soc. 1850 ; cf. Lenz ' Klinig Sigismund und Heinrich der Fiinfte,' p. 14.)
