It nearly refembles the image defcribed by Dr. Plot in his Hiftory of StafFordfhire, under the name of Jack of Hilton, and like that has been ufed as an yEolipile, having a hole at the back of the neck, for the purpofe of filling it with water, and a very fmall one at the mouth to occafion the blaft.
