ARTICLE VII

See. 1. If a wlite man marry a member of the nation, and accu mulate property by such marringe, said property shall belong to is wife and children; nor shall he be allowed to remove any por- tion of such property beyond the limits of the reserve.

Sec, 2. Should such white man lose hig wife, all the property shall belong to the ehildren, and no subsequent wife shall claim any portion of such property

Sec. 3. Should such white man die in the naiion, leaving no children, all his property shall belong to his wife, after paying his debts.

Sec. 4. Should such white man lose his wife, and have no chil- dren, one half of the personal propcrty shall belong to him, and the other half shall belong to his wife's ncarest relatives. See. 5. Should such white man be expelled from the reserve, and the wife choose to follow her husband, she shall forfeit all her right and interest in the reserve.

ARTICLE IX

Sec. 1. No member of the nation shall iease any grounds to per- sous not menmbers of the nation.

See. 2. Should a white man seek employment of any menber of the nation, he shall first give his uame to the United States Agent, and furnish him with a certificate of good moral elaracter, and also a statement of the time for which he is enıployed, and the name of his employer.

Sec. 8. The eumployed shall pay all ired help according to ngreement

Sec. 4. Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of these laws on the reserve shall be punished as therein pro- vided

Sec. 5. All white men on the rescrve disregarding these laws shall also be expelled from the reserve.
