< Baird's Manual of American College Fraternities (1879)
A fraternity established at the Sheffield Scientific School, in 1863. It is distinctly local, and very prosperous, nnmbering among its alumni several of Yale’s eminent graduates. Its badge is a combination of potash bulbs surmounted by the letter “B.”
