Donald Petrie
(1846–1925)
Donald Petrie (7 September 1846 - 1 September 1925) was an Scottish-born botanist, teacher and school inspector who moved to New Zealand in 1873.

Works

Petrie published some 60 papers in the Transactions and Proceedings of the Royal Society of New Zealand and other journals in which he described about 180 species or varieties of unknown plants.
