My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is a Canadian–American animated television series based on the My Little Pony franchise. The series focuses on the unicorn (turned alicorn) Twilight Sparkle and her adventures with the other residents of her hometown of Ponyville, as she studies friendship by decree of the Equestrian ruler, Princess Celestia.
