I've been programming since I started at 14 on the Tandy TRS II.

For a while I was a Word Basic guru, then VBA for document management and then for some reason I have yet to fathom I became Head of IT at an airline booking company.

After tearing my hair out for 3 years, spending my days in HR while staff complained that they hated the IT director I moved back to the calm blue waters of development with .NET. Which I studied in the Himalaya; nice.

In recent times I worked on a system to video guests on roller coasters and now I work on video systems in TV and movies.

I play guitar, sing in a Jazz quartet and know far too much about Daleks.
