Ok so I made a $50 bitcoin deposit to a gambling site. IM NOT CONCERNED WITH THE $50, ALTHOUGH IM VERY CONCERNED HOW THIS COULD HAPPEN? WHAT IF IT WAS A LARGE AMOUNT OF $?! And they weren’t trying to scam me because they credited me the money anyway, BUT they claim the transaction “TIMED OUT” and therefore they are UNABLE to receive the $.
Again it was only $50 and it was through a Bitcoin of America ATM. I put $53 in the machine cuz they charge 6%. I guess I should have asked the machine to print me out a public/private key (not sure if that would’ve helped). But anyway the way it works is, I request to make a deposit, they produce a bitcoin address (or QR CODE), I go to the bitcoin ATM and put the cash in and then scan the QR CODE from my phone to the atm and it is SUPPOSED to send the bitcoin directly to the bitcoin address they gave me, and then when it’s confirmed, my gambling account gets credited. I have used other gambling sites before and within an hour of scanning the QR CODE the $ is added to my gambling account. I used to print out the keys but didn’t think this was necessary because I’ve never had any other issues.
Well, again, THIS TIME they said THE TRANSACTION TIMES OUT AND THEY ARENT ABLE TO ACCESS THE FUNDS!! I called the ATM OWNER AND THEY SENT ME A LINK PROVING THE $ WAS SENT TO THE ADDRESS PROVIDED SO THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME!!
I find this VERY CONFUSING AND QUITE AMAZING that the $ is just LOST IN BITCOIN WORLD?!?!
Can ANYONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!! If yo I can access the funds I’ll split them with you lol..
Attached is a pic of the receipt!!
I also have another issue in which Coinbase Wallet stole (in my eyes, since they won’t return my email, nor will coinbase) some $ I sent to the wallet from my Coinbase account. I decided to “log out” of the coinbase wallet cuz it wasn’t updating my balance, and when I went to log back in I clicked “already have account” but it made me open a new account, WITH A $0 BALANCE AND I CANT ACCESS THE ILD ACCOUNT NOW!! I even put in the 12 security words (so I thought) AND THE APP ATILL BROUGHT ME TO A NEW WALLET WITH $0!! I’m AMAZED COINBASE COULD CARE LESS TOO!!
Can anyone help with either of these issues. It would be MUCH APPRECIATED. It’s the principal, not the $.. CRYPTO IS NOT SAFE AT ALL AS FAR AS I’M CONCERNED

Bitcoin transactions do not time out. Either the gambling site is lying to you, or they have a poorly designed system which stops scanning for transactions to their addresses after some time. https://blockstream.info/address/34d2zWVZbeACw5VYHrX75ZmpPHscqwSR7S shows it has received the Bitcoin and even sent it elsewhere, so the gambling site most certainly has control of those Bitcoin now.
