I have a Multibit wallet file, key file and a backup but can't open these with the password that I have. I can open the key file and backup in a plain text editor like notepad and ++. I keep reading over and over that if anyone gets their hands on these plain text files that my bits are gone. Can someone tell me how they do it or better still , how can I recover my BTCs given the information I have?
