I installed my Bitcoin client after I bought my coins, and a received a confirmation email saying that they will immediately show up in my wallet. My client shows 0.00 balance! I did not specify any address for the Bitcoins to go to.
There is an address in the confirmation email stating that its the address where the coins are send to. I have no idea how this works, and I have no idea how to get my coins into my wallet. By the way, my Bitcoin client is running and fully synchronized. However, I cant find a way of getting my acquired coins. This is the email I received after purchase:
