I want to purchase some BTC. Because of the fact that BTC demand is high and supply is low in South Korea, its price is very high (Korbit 07.12.17: 17394 USD).
As I am currently living in Korea, are Korean bitcoin exchanges still a good option despite its high price or should I buy somewhere else where price is lower?
Of course you should as long as the exchanges allow Korean resident. This list may prove useful to you. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets

The average price on the other exchanges are 13000$ - 14000$ , so give or take 3000$ in differences for 1 BTC right now. Also you shouldn't use credit/card for larger amount unless it is urgent, because the fees will be enormous. – Chak – 2017-12-07T01:09:09.633
