Is there any way by which I can receive each and every Bitcoin transaction that takes place on the Bitcoin network(not only my own wallet's transactions)? Just the way Blockchain.info provides a transaction stream no matter who made them and to whom they are going?
Can txindex=1 helps in this regard too?
Thanks. Is there a Java version of this sort available by any means? – Waqas Shah – 2015-01-26T12:32:00.990
BitcoinJ, the Java Bitcoin library, has a full node mode. – David A. Harding – 2015-01-26T14:23:47.667
Thanks a lot! You put me in the right direction.
Though, I am assuming that I am going to be getting all the transactions that arrive on the Bitcoin network. Am I correct? Or will there be some transactions that I might not get? – Waqas Shah – 2015-01-27T04:26:30.127
It's easier to say what you won't receive: you likely won't receive non-standard transactions and you won't receive many double spends. You also likely won't receive transactions initially broadcast before your node comes online, unless those transactions were included in a block on the best block chain or rebroadcast. You should receive everything else, which is most legitimate transactions. – David A. Harding – 2015-01-27T04:35:13.507
