I exported my private keys and Multibit unencrypted but when I try to import the key files I am being asked for a password... copying the the key from text edit and pasting it into blockchain results in an "unreadable key" type of message. Trying to import to Multibit results in asking for a password. Have I lost access to these bitcoins?

Are you sure you exported them unencrypted ? You should have an export.file with a lot of comment lines at the top and then your private keys and some dates near the bottom. – jim618 – 2013-07-17T07:17:32.560
